When you use the form we collect your name, phone number, postcode, the boiler problem you pick and anything you type in the optional box. When you call, we collect your phone number and a recording of the call. The site also logs basic technical data such as your browser type.

We use your details to deal with your enquiry and pass it to one local engineer who can help. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked for help, and passing your details to an engineer is how we provide it.

Calls to 01476 852260 are recorded for quality and to settle any dispute about what was said. You hear a message saying so at the start of the call. Recordings are stored by our phone system provider.

We use Google Analytics only if you tap "Accept analytics" on the cookie notice. It sets cookies that count visits, which pages people read and whether they tapped a phone number or sent the form. It never receives your name, phone number, email or postcode. If you tap "No thanks", Google Analytics does not load and no analytics cookies are set. The site keeps your choice in your browser; change your cookie choice.

We share your details with the one engineer we pass your job to, who becomes responsible for how they use them. We also use service providers to run the site and phone line, including HighLevel (customer records, calls and texts) and Cloudflare (website hosting). Some of these store data outside the UK, under safeguards approved for UK data. We never sell your details to anyone else.

We keep enquiries and call recordings for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless we need them longer to deal with a complaint or a legal claim.

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them or stop us using them. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
